Frostbite

The ear tips and feet of kids, and teats and scrotum of adult goats are susceptible to frost bite during the winter months, if living in cold climates.

Treatment Options

Warm area: Thaw in warm water or with a hair dryer.

Prevention

  • During cold weather, provide goats with adequate shelter for protection.
